The next Startup Rockstars event is May 12, 2010, in the large auditorium at the Arlington Central library.

The lineup includes several startups, including FeedbackArmy. More details as they are released, and also on the event signup page.

Last week, the Washington Post wrote a story about up-and-coming women in the DC area, and including Kady Chiu (co-founder, Startup Rockstars), along with Shireen Mitchell, Shana Glickfield, Larissa Fair, and Alexis Rodich.

On page 2 of the Kim Hart article Up-and-Comers Who Are Breaking Down a Digital Divide there is a reference to our “Startup Rockstar events”. The article also appeared in the print edition of the paper.

Startup Rockstars DC 3 – tomorrow night’s list

We’re all set for the Thursday, October 9th event at Viget Labs, where we’ll be holding the next Startup Rockstars night (a 1 Piazza event). We’ll up the energy & networking that happened at the last event. Including the 3+ ways this event has been promoted, we expect a nice turnout. There will be live music from a local musician/documentary-maker to liven the atmosphere, some giveaways, and possibly a surprise speaker.
